Cover

vfat.io offers Bundled Protocol Cover, protection for deposits made into vfat.io positions against protocol hacks. It applies only to deposits made through vfat.io’s Sickle-based positions, and is limited to the specific strategy it was purchased for; it can’t be applied in part or in whole to cover any other position or protocol.

Cover is only available for a specific list of eligible protocols, shown when purchasing. Not every farm on Farms is eligible.

Buying cover

Cover can be purchased in two places:

• Inline, while opening a new position from the Farms action pane
• From the Cover section of the Deposits tab, for an existing eligible position

When buying, you choose:

• Amount to cover, denominated in USDC
• Duration: 30, 60, 90 or 180 days
• Chain to perform the purchase on: Base, Arbitrum or Optimism

Managing cover

The Deposits tab shows your active policies, their coverage amount, and expiry. Positions with active cover are flagged accordingly wherever they appear in the app.
