Metric LP positions
Metric OMM v1 pools on Ethereum, BNB Chain and Robinhood use native, nontransferable shares. Each position belongs to your Sickle and is identified by its chain, pool and salt. Different salts remain separate even when they hold the same bins. This integration supports the current factory only.
Open a Metric pool from Yield to deposit, or select a position on Deposits to see its value, token balances and a read-only Current position chart. Like other concentrated-liquidity positions, the chart shows pool reserves, your range (green when you hold shares in the active band, red otherwise, including empty gaps between held bands) and the current and oracle prices, without handles. The Your position strip under it shows how the position’s value is spread across its price bands; tap a band or use the arrow keys to see its price interval, share and value in the second token’s units. The chart appears once every held band can be valued from the loaded pool window; otherwise only the totals show. Position details lists the salt, Sickle, owner and the exact shares held in each signed bin. Deposits estimates position fee APR using the same active-band calculation as the action forms, with the observed pool liquidity and your Sickle’s shares for the exact salt. These estimates contribute to the position rows, chain totals and portfolio totals. A missing valuation or APR appears as unavailable. If any included position has an unknown APR, combined portfolio APR and estimated reward totals also remain unavailable; known token valuations still contribute to Total Value. Fees already in bin reserves are part of the underlying balances; there is no separate harvest or reward claim. Keeper automation, bridges, lifetime PnL and native Metric swap routing are unavailable.
Deposits calculates APR directly from the ordinary farm and canonical position models. Recorded fees, available active-bin quantities and exact held shares may have different observation times; ordinary refresh differences do not hide the estimate. Chart loading or an action widget does not publish or replace Deposits APR. A missing required input remains unavailable. The position summary shows this same APR. The Pool data tooltip in the action form lists the observations it uses.
Deposit and increase
Use the same Deposit, Increase and Withdraw forms as other pools. Choose a deposit asset and enter an amount, use its balance slider, or select MAX. The slider appears when a positive wallet balance is available. Select the Underlying pair in that same menu to enter separate maximum budgets for the two pool tokens, each with the usual amount controls. Underlying amounts are independent: the pool’s overall reserve ratio does not determine the mix needed by your chosen range. The quote may swap between the tokens and returns unused amounts to your wallet.
Increase adds to the selected position; New position creates a separate position with its own automatically generated identity. The existing position is unchanged. The exact salt remains available under Position details. Metric has no transferable LP token or position NFT; importing another LP position is unavailable in this flow.
The price chart shows existing pool reserves across their actual price bands. The dashed grey line is the Oracle reference price. Range percentages measure distance from this reference as 0%; the help next to Position range notes that bounds move with it. The solid line is the pool’s current trading price, which can differ from the oracle reference. One legend entry gives the oracle price and that difference as a percentage, for example Oracle 135.5207 · pool 0.02% below, so a narrow zoom does not exaggerate its size. Bin widths can differ, and their absolute prices move when the reference changes. Hover a bar for its pool reserves, which use the second token as the common unit, valuing first-token reserves at that same reference price; they are not guaranteed executable swap liquidity.
Deposit, Increase and Withdraw show an amber notice when the pool price differs from the oracle reference by 1% or more, measured in the pool’s native token order. Switching price display updates the percentage and direction while retaining the warning; reciprocal percentages can differ slightly. A large gap can affect entry or exit value. The threshold is an advisory, not a protocol limit, an execution guarantee or proof that smaller gaps are safe. Review the quote before continuing. Without a usable price observation, the comparison is omitted; no gap is inferred. A failed refresh can retain a dated observation. Existing fresh-quote and slippage checks still apply; the notice does not prevent withdrawals or change your range, distribution or funding inputs.
Use the same Position range widget as other pools. Choose % for distance from the oracle reference, or Price for token prices. Tight, Standard and Wide use recent movements of the pool price relative to its oracle when sufficient recorded history is available. The widget labels this oracle-relative price history; saved rebalance goals control the widths. These are rough sizing goals assuming you recenter after leaving the range, not measured future rebalance frequencies or automatic rebalancing.
Metric uses the shared fallback chain; it currently has no protocol-default range. When that history is missing or shows too little movement, the same choices fall back to Pool liquidity, or Liquidity shown for a partial window. Tight, Standard and Wide expand around the current trading price to cover at least 50%, 80% and 95% of the reserves shown. Whole bands can make choices coincide or cover more than the target. The existing range-help tooltip explains the source and selected coverage. These presets describe current liquidity distribution; they have no time estimate or return forecast. A wider loaded window can change them. The widget starts with Standard when a safe suggestion is available. Selecting another preset updates the range; refreshing data, changing units or switching recommendation sources preserves your chosen bins and funding amounts. A sharp-movement warning keeps manual bounds available without substituting a liquidity suggestion. A statistical goal that exceeds the loaded window or pool limits is unavailable, rather than shortened to fit.
The chart uses the standard position summary, price labels and legend. APR is an indicative fee estimate using the pool’s recent annualized fee income and your share of liquidity in the currently active band. It accounts for the selected weights, added liquidity and existing holdings; the Increase and Withdraw summaries use the same calculation. The estimate assumes price and fee activity persist, rather than forecasting future movement or guaranteeing a return. A range outside the current price has zero estimated fee APR. Missing fee data, prices, liquidity or unresolved position amounts remain unavailable. Daily rewards is zero because Metric has no extra reward emissions; trading fees stay in the position and are included in fee APR. Type a bound, use its +/− buttons or arrow keys, or focus the input and scroll the mouse wheel to move one valid boundary at a time. Drag either chart handle to resize the range, or use the center handle to move it. Drag the chart to pan and scroll over it to zoom. The shared Price display control switches token orientation without changing the selected range.
The app snaps bounds to whole price bands and starts with an equal share of deposit value in every band. The Your deposit strip directly under the price chart shows how the deposit is split. It uses the chart’s price axis, so each bar keeps its band’s real width and follows the chart when you zoom or pan; the tallest bar fills the strip. Below the chart, Deposit shape offers Even, Centered (more value near the current price) and Edges (more towards the ends of the range). Strength sets how pronounced Centered or Edges is, and Tilt moves value below or above the current price as displayed. A shape is a rule rather than stored numbers: choosing another preset, or moving or resizing the range, recalculates it for the new bands. To draw your own, drag across the bars. Each band you cross takes the height of the pointer and only those bands change; the others keep their weights while every percentage adjusts to the new total. Drawing switches to Custom. Choosing a named shape and then Custom again restores your drawing; Start over from Even discards it and clears the tilt. Selecting Custom after starting over keeps the new equal allocation. Tap a bar, or use the strip’s arrow keys, to select a band without changing it. Its price interval, share and value in the second token’s units appear below the shape choices, and Share of deposit sets an exact percentage to 0.01%; its − and + buttons move 0.1%. The Up and Down arrow keys raise or lower the selected bar. Every selected band keeps a positive allocation; narrow the range to exclude a band. The line beside Deposit shape splits the deposit into the part below the current price, the active band and the part above it. On Increase, the shape applies to the new deposit only and does not rebalance existing holdings; once the added amount can be valued, your current position appears as an outline on the same value scale. A Custom allocation keeps its shape when a range of the same width moves; resizing retains overlapping weights and gives new bands the prior average weight. Shapes and custom allocations survive price refreshes, unit and orientation changes, action tabs, and resizing. Refreshing prices, switching input units or changing display orientation preserves the selected bins. Hover or use the chart’s arrow keys to inspect exact token reserves and your position’s reserves within the loaded window. Green overlays estimate your position’s reserves; the selected range and proposed deposit use the same chart styling as other protocols. Proposed values are estimates before fees and swaps and remain unavailable when funding cannot be valued.
Pool prices and liquidity refresh in the background for every eligible pool. Open Pool data to see the observation times for pool data, range history and fee income. They remain observed values when a refresh is delayed; elapsed time does not hide them or change their timestamps. A source for another pool, owner or salt cannot replace the selected position’s data. Newer complete sources replace earlier ones. The green reserve overlay estimates your token amounts from canonical held shares and public pool quantities. These observations may come from different blocks; a missing or inconsistent amount stays unknown. The overlay makes no extra private request. Position APR comes directly from the ordinary farm and holding models, independently of chart loading.
When prices cannot refresh, the form loads indexed native token quantities on separate scales even if an earlier priced observation remains cached. Native quantities keep refreshing independently. The native chart is shown when its source block is at least as recent as the retained priced chart. The Pool data tooltip dates native quantities, retained price bands, recorded fees and held shares separately. APR uses catalog native quantities and shared token USD prices, independently of the chart’s pool-provider quote. Native chart quantities do not imply a pool price. Switching between these views preserves the chosen bins, distribution and funding amounts. Choose First bin and Last bin by signed bin ID and shape the deposit with the same strip and controls. Without prices, the strip gives every bin the same width, orders bins by ID and shows shares without values. No combined value, price boundary or value-based APR is inferred from these amounts. The quote can prepare an add without the pool’s price provider when every selected bin requires the same token: relative value weights then equal relative amounts of that token. A distribution requiring both tokens needs an available live provider price. Native withdrawals remain available without it. Missing USD prices preserve recorded native fee and volume statistics while USD totals and APR remain unavailable. A missing price never turns positive native fees into a zero or partial dollar fee total.
The chart states when liquidity outside the loaded window is unavailable. Try again retries data loading without starting background preparation. Refreshing preserves selected bin IDs and funding amounts while observed price bounds can change with the oracle reference. A pool’s swap pause does not erase recorded historical fees; estimates assume that price and fee activity persist.
The chart is context for choosing a range. Every transaction prepares its quote from fresh pool and position reads, independently of the shared chart snapshot. The API prepares any required swaps and derives token spending caps, minimum newly minted shares, bin-position bounds and a fresh transaction deadline from current pool state and your slippage setting. Review the resulting quote before signing. Native funding uses the existing wrap and refund flow. External conversions use VFAT’s existing router.
Partial withdrawal and full exit
Choose Withdraw and select the pool-token pair or another receiving asset from the usual Token to receive menu. Use the standard amount field, percentage slider or MAX control. The selected percentage applies to every held bin. If the position value is unavailable, the same control accepts a percentage so withdrawals remain possible. The API computes exact share amounts from fresh holdings. Editing the percentage does not affect another salt, and a refresh preserves the chosen percentage.
Choosing 100% asks the API to enumerate every held bin for the exact pool, Sickle and salt at a pinned block, including bins not currently displayed or added since the screen refreshed. It does not build an exit from the visible list. An unavailable or incomplete lookup prevents construction of a full exit.
The receiving asset selection determines whether the quote returns the two pool tokens or converts to another token. The API derives minimum underlying amounts before fees and swaps and minimum new outputs after fees and swaps. Existing Sickle balances do not count towards the new-output minimum. Choosing native currency unwraps the payout to your wallet; choosing wrapped native keeps it wrapped. Any unswapped remainders also return to your wallet.
Review and submit
The route preview is non-validating. Submission follows the existing Sickle deployment, approval, fresh validated quote and wallet confirmation flow. Review your selected position, range and withdrawal percentage in the form. The quote uses the usual swap, liquidity, fee and receiving-token details, without a separate Metric identifier summary. Position and wallet identity remain checked internally. The forms preserve funding amounts and allocation drafts while switching actions or resizing; changing wallet or position starts a new draft. Nonstandard transfer-tax tokens are not supported by this Metric integration.
